AIMUK is a new Missions Department
run programme that sees people leaving the comfort of their home ministry
to go and assist in another UK ministry
for either 3, 6 or 12 months.
All AIMers are self-supporting and, prior
to leaving to go on the field, raise their
budget by working and fundraising. The
idea is to have enough funds to sustain
their mission so they can devote their
time, energy and effort supporting
the visiting ministry.
You will be glad to know that you don‘t
have to be a preacher to apply! Not all
AIMers are preachers but some are
musicians, builders, graphic designers,
clerical workers or people who just
have a willing heart and able hands.
It may be pulpit ministry; it may be teaching Sunday School classes. It may see
you involved in evangelism, youth ministry,
teaching Bible studies. It may see you
painting the church or assisting in a building
programme. Are you a Brick layer?
Plasterer? Electricitian or Joiner? How about
painting...can you paint? You might be good at
cooking and there may be an opening for you!
Are you good at clerical work; answering
phones, being the voice of a ministry? With
roughly 50 churches and preaching points in
England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland, there
is definitely a place that you can offer your
services.
